Argentina’s famous for its fauna. Keeping this in mind, we’ve created a unique program for those who truly love nature and appreciate the opportunity to see wild animals and birds in their natural habitat. 

You’ll start in Buenos Aires, visit Iguazu with its waterfalls, butterflies, birds and coatis, then head to Esteros del Ibera, a unique reserve and ecological project. On its vast territory visitors can encounter a wide variety of animals, from caymans and capybaras to rare birds, and watch them in their natural surroundings. 

 

DAY 1. BUENOS AIRES

Upon your arrival at Buenos Aires airport, our driver and guide will meet you there and accompany you to your hotel.

In the afternoon, you will take an individual author’s tour of the city by car with a private guide. You will see pages of history that preserve the memory of the founding of the city, the colonial era, the first immigrants, the golden times of the beginning of the 20th century, the amazing life and tragic death of the famous first lady of Argentina Evita Peron, the difficult period of the dictatorship... the historic square of Plaza de Mayo near the city center, the charming area of San Telmo, the vibrant quarter of La Boca, the dynamic port and business center of Puerto Madero, elegant Recoleta with its French style architecture and famous cemetery surrounded by secrets and legends, the parks of ​​Palermo... And all of this is only a fraction of what awaits you on our tour!

In addition, along the way you can taste the national drink ‘mate’ that is an important part of Argentine culture.

DAY 2. BUENOS AIRES – IGUAZU

Transfer to the airport to catch your flight to Puerto Iguazu.

Our guide will meet you at the airport and take you on tour around the Brazilian side of Iguazu National Park.

You will find yourself in a huge nature reserve where you can see a rich variety of subtropical plants and wildlife, including amazing multicolored butterflies. In addition, you will have magnificent panoramic views of the waterfalls.

Then you‘ll have an individual tour of the Bird Park, where unusual species of birds native to Brazil, Asia, Africa and Australia and other parts of the planet live. The conditions of their native ecosystems were carefully recreated here. You will have the opportunity to admire a huge number of winged creatures: in total, there are more than 900 species of birds living in the park! Multicolored and largebeaked toucans, tiny hummingbirds, graceful flamingos, golden parrots, tropical butterflies, as well as reptiles, crocodiles, snakes and monkeys ... all of them can be found in Bird Park.

OPTION: From here you can make an exciting halfhour helicopter flight over majestic waterfalls and see astonishing views of two reserves and the borders of 3 countries.

After the end of the tour, transfer to the hotel. Free time and rest.

DAY 3. IGUAZU

Argentine side of the waterfalls.

In the morning, a guide will meet you in the hotel lobby to take an individual tour of the Argentine side of Iguazu Falls.

Here you will find a small museum and follow some sightseeing trails through the park, allowing you to see the spectacular system of waterfalls from different angles. Then get ready to go on a trip through the jungle on a colorful train! You will then find yourself at the kilometerlong system of tracks leading to the famous "Devil's Throat", one of the most breathtaking sights of Iguazu.

And then comes the “Bid Adventure” – a journey through the jungle followed by a boat which will take you up to the waterfall itself, so that you find yourself face to face with its jets of water and clouds of spray. An unforgettable experience!

DAY 4. IGUAZU – POSADAS

Transfer to bus terminal. Bus trip to Posadas (approx.300km). In Posadas you’ll be met by our driver who’ll take you to “Rincon del Socorro”, a lodge located next to the Esteros del Ibera nature reserve.

OPTION: you can choose an air transfer to Posadas: a light plane can pick you up in any Argentine airport to take you to Posadas. Seeing the vastness of Esteros del Ibera national park from the air is a unique experience in itself.

The Iberá national park in the northern province of Corrientes is a mix of bush, wetlands, forests, lagoons, in the center and centernorth of the province of Corrientes, Argentina that is home to a rich variety of wildlife.

It is one of the most important fresh water reservoirs in South America and the secondlargest wetland in the world after Pantanal in Brazil with a total area of between 15,000–20,000 km2.

You can admire caimans, aligators sunbathing on the shores of the lakes deers, capybaras, monkeys and birds that are a popular attraction for photographers and nature lovers. The reserve is protected by ecologists who work on projects aimed at and taking care of its wildlife.

DAY 5. ESTEROS DEL IBERA

The next two days will be spent in Esteros del Ibera. The stay includes accommodation, full board and daytime tours, such as safari, boat trips and horseriding excursions. You can choose which activities suit you best.

DAY 6. ESTEROS DEL IBERA

The second day at Esteros del Ibera. Includes full board and day tours according to the timetable of the lodge. You can choose between a variety of options. Giving you the chance to encounter rare birds, families of capybaras, caimans and other creatures that inhabit the wetlands!

OPTION: nighttime safari. Visiting the swamps and lakes after dark, when many different species of wildlife start to appear that you won't see during the day, means the chance to see fireflies, spot owls, foxes and armadillos!

DAY 7. POSADAS – BUENOS AIRES

Transfer to Posadas and flight to Buenos Aires. Meet up at the airport and transfer to the hotel. Free time to rest or enjoy the city.

The evening program includes dinner and a famous tango show held at El Querandi, one of the most original tango venues in the capital. Experience the music, rhythm, and passion of tango! You’ll find yourself in a skillfully recreated atmosphere of the 1920s, taste exquisite Argentine cuisine and see a brilliant tango show in the best traditions of the San Telmo area.

DAY 8. BUENOS AIRES

Breakfast and free time. Transfer to the airport and international flight.
